GCM Resources (GCM:AIM) has been trying for more than a decade to get a Bangladesh coal mine into production. It has faced considerable local opposition, but continued to persevere. The share price has risen 189% over the past week on a deal to work with a Chinese group to explore the potential for a coal-fired power plant. (DC)
