Ferrexpo promotes non-exec director to senior independent director

(Alliance News) - Ferrexpo PLC said on Friday that Fiona MacAulay, current independent non-executive director, has been appointed senior independent director.

The Baar, Switzerland-based iron ore pellets exporter said MacAulay replace Vitalii Lisovenko who held the position for two and a half years. Lisovenko will remain as independent non-executive director.

MacAulay joined Ferrexpo's board in August 2019. Before that she was chief executive of London-based gas-focused exploration company Echo Energy PLC from 2017 to 2018 and a non-executive director from 2018 to 2019.

MacAulay was also chief operating officer of Salisbury, England-based oil and gas exploration company Rockhopper Exploration PLC from 2013 to 2017.

Shares in Ferrexpo were down 2.9% at 278.60 pence on Friday morning in London.
