IN BRIEF: Phoenix Group adds NatWest CFO to board; chair is Lord Mayor

Phoenix Group Holdings PLC - London-based long-term savings and retirement products - Chair Nicholas Lyons will take a sabbatical in order to serve a one-year term as Lord Mayor of the City of London. Lyons will start the sabbatical from the Phoenix Group board on September 1, returning in November 2023. Senior Independent Director Alastair Barbour will step up to interim chair from September, while Karen Green will step up to senior independent director from the annual general meeting on May 5. Phoenix also has hired Katie Murray as an independent non-executive director, starting April 1. Murray is chief financial officer of lender NatWest Group PLC.
