Aura Energy Ltd - Australia-based minerals company with polymetallic and uranium projects in Europe and Africa - Narrows pretax loss in the first half of its financial year ending December 31. Loss narrows to A$624,048, around $469,031, from a loss of A$1.7 million the previous year.

Company increases its net assets 13% at December 31 to A$24.8 million from A$22.0 million at June 30. Says first half was focused on the recapitalisation of the group and restructure of the board of directors & management to support the development phase for the 85% owned Tiris Uranium Project.
