Fidelity Japan Trust PLC - Kent, England-based investment trust focused on Japan - Records gains on investments of £857,000 in 2021, down significantly from £38.5 million the previous year. Income totals £3.5 million, up 6.1% from £3.3 million. Net return before tax drops 91% to £5.6 million from £60.9 million. Net asset value at December 31 stands at 240.73 pence per share, up 1.8% from 236.53p a year before. Moving forward, the trust says it will keep an eye on the situation in Ukraine and its impact on inflation and economic growth.
