Conroy Gold & Natural Resources PLC - Dublin-based gold exploration and development focused on Ireland and Finland - Completes its joint venture agreement with Ankara, Turkey-based miner Demir Export A for targets within the Mines Royal options and Northern Ireland licences, and the other licences held by the joint venture. Says all conditions have been met and that payment of €1 million has been made to Conroy Gold. The joint venture aims to develop the gold deposit in the Clontibret licence to construction-ready status and bring it into production. The companies also will aim to take the Clay Lake gold target and other targets within the license to construction-ready status. The work programme started in January, and a 3,000-metre drilling programme is planned to begin in the second half of April.
