At March 31, net asset value per share stands at 888.0 pence, down 3.2% from 917.7p at September 30. NAV per share total return for the six months ended March 31 is negative 2.2%, swinging from positive 10.6% for the same period ended September 30. Company underperforms its benchmark, the FTSE All-Share index, which rose 4.7% over the same period. Declares an interim dividend of 8.3p, up from 8.0p the previous year.
