Also swings to a loss on investments of £20.1 million from a gain on investments of £123.3 million. Net asset value per share at March 31 stands at 965.0 pence, up from 836.7p at the same time the previous year. Company produces a total return on net assets of minus 1.9% in the six month period, compared to a return of positive 0.3% from its benchmark index, the MSCI India Index.
