Thruvision Group PLC - Abingdon, England-based people-screening technology - Hires Victoria Balchin as its new chief financial officer, effective on October 1. Balchin has held a number of finance roles, including with British Sky Broadcasting Group PLC and SABMiller PLC since 2000. In 2019, she was appointed CFO of Bruel & Kjaer Vibro, a Spectris PLC business based in Germany.

Outgoing Chair Tom Black says: ‘Victoria brings with her significant financial and commercial experience which provides an excellent fit with the existing Thruvision team at this exciting stage in our development.’

Current stock price: up 1.7% at 26.04 pence each on Thursday morning in London
