Treatt PLC - Bury St Edmunds-based natural extracts and ingredients supplier - Hires Vijay Thakrar as chair designate after an extensive selection process. He will succeed outgoing Chair Tim Jones. Treatt says Jones will retire on January 27 next year.
Thakrar joined the company as an independent non-executive director in September 2020. He is currently a non-executive director on the boards of Alpha FX Group PLC and RSM UK Holdings Ltd and non-executive chair of Alumasc Group PLC.
Jones adds: ‘Vijay has substantial experience from a broad business and non-executive career covering a number of large international organisations, as well as extensive knowledge of Treatt.’
Current stock price: 760.15 pence, up 2.7% on Friday
