Filtronic PLC - Leeds-based antenna maker - Wins contract with an existing aerospace & defence customer for the design and manufacture of a series of filter related developments. The company says the contract is valued at £400,000. It says the contract is expected to be delivered within the 2023 financial year with ‘a good chance of follow-on orders being received in the future for this product.’

Chief Executive Officer Richard Gibbs says: ‘We have worked hard to develop further opportunities in the aerospace and defence market and this contract flows from the credibility we have built with this important customer.’

Current stock price: 12.17 pence, up 3.6% in London on Monday
