Ireland producer prices fall monthly in June, yearly growth eases

Yearly producer price inflation in Ireland ebbed slightly in June, figures on Friday showed.

According to the Central Statistics Office, producer prices rose 6.2% annually in June, slowing from a 7.3% climb in May.

On a monthly basis, producer prices declined 0.1% in June from May. It was the first monthly fall since a 0.8% decline in August 2021.

In May 2022, producer prices rose 0.5% from April.
