Pires Investments PLC - London-based technology-focused investor - Raises £500,000 from placing of 12.5 million new shares at 4 pence per share. Says directors have subscribed, in aggregate, for 750,000 new ordinary shares as part of the placing.

Ergomed PLC- Guildford, England-based service provider to the biopharmaceutical industry - CFO Richard Barfield has sold 25,000 shares at a price of £11.70 per share, worth £292,500, on Friday last week.
