Ireland's jobless rate edged lower in July, figures from the Central Statistics Office showed on Thursday.
Ireland's unemployment rated faded to 4.2% in July from 4.3% in June. A year earlier, the jobless rate stood at 5.8%.
‘The seasonally adjusted number of persons unemployed was 113,000 in July 2022, compared with 113,900 in June 2022. There was a decrease of 36,000 in the seasonally adjusted number of persons unemployed from a year earlier,’ the CSO said.
