Texton Property Fund Ltd - Johannesburg-headquartered owner of office, industrial and retail properties located in South Africa and the UK - Notes that its subsidiary TPI No 2 entered into a capital commitment to partner with GIM Investments PCC Ltd. Says it has made capital commitments of $5.5 million, or R 90.3 million, as a result. Says the capital will be deployed over an expected two-year investment period. Explains that GIM found an opportunity to invest in the development of housing communities to capitalise on the shortage of affordable housing in the US. The investment meets a number of strategic and investment goals for it, Texton ends.
