Resolute Mining Ltd - Perth-based gold miner in Africa - Revenue in first half of 2022 rises 22% to $317.7 million from $261.3 million a year earlier. Pretax loss narrows markedly to $8.0 million from $204.3 million. Average realised gold price rises 5.9% to $1,824 an ounce from $1,723 a year earlier. ‘I am pleased with the ongoing continuous improvement of the Syama sulphide operation, which achieved 4% more gold produced on the comparable period including the planned major maintenance shutdown in H1 2022,’ Chief Executive Terry Holohan says.
