Trident Royalties PLC - London-based mining royalty and streaming company - Sees revenue skyrocket to $3.1 million in the six months to June 30 from $77,000 a year earlier. Pretax loss narrows to $800,000 from $1.1 million, but finance costs increase to $2.3 million from $31,000 a year ago. Trident has completed several acquisitions for a total of $76.0 million during the period. Says significant royalty and offtakes receipts of $7.8 million is generated from Trident's portfolio.
Chief Executive Officer Adam Davidson says: ‘Trident has continued to excel amid a difficult macro-economic environment. The portfolio is performing well, with solid progress made across a number of assets. Looking forward to the second half, Trident is well positioned to continue our record of consistent growth.’
Looking ahead, Trident warns that current macroeconomic and geopolitical uncertainty will continue to challenge traditional debt and equity markets.
