Ireland's annual producer price growth slowed in August, figures on Friday showed.
According to the Central Statistics Office, annual producer price inflation cooled to 4.7% in August from 6.2% in July.
Annual food products growth slowed to 9.2% in August from July's 11% hike. The wider Food Products, Beverages & Tobacco expanded 8.9% annually in August, slowing from July's 10% hike.
On a monthly basis, producer prices fell 2.2% in August. In July, prices had risen 2.4% from June.
