Dunedin Income Growth Investment Trust PLC - Edinburgh-based UK and overseas companies investor - On Thursday says net asset value per share at July 31 half-year ended rises 3.2% to 303.52 pence from 313.56p on January 31. Reports net asset value total return of negative 0.1%, match the FTSE All-Share Index. Declares 6.0p worth of half-year dividends, unchanged from prior year. ‘The board recognises the importance of delivering a growing dividend to shareholders, with the aim of keeping pace with the cost of living. However, given the current high levels of inflation, increasing the dividend in real terms over the short term is unlikely to be achievable,’ company says.
