IN BRIEF: Morses Club says Chair Nigel Knowles to step down

Morses Club PLC - Nottingham, England-based home collected credit provider & online lender - Says Nigel Knowles will step down as chair on November 4, in order to dedicate more time to his role as chief executive officer of DWF Group PLC. Knowles has been CEO of the Manchester, England-based legal business since May 2020, having previously been chair. Says Knowles joined the Morses Club board in May 2016, when he was appointed as senior independent director, before becoming chair in March 2022.

Independent Non-Executive Director Michael Yeates also plans to step down on November 4. Yeates joined the board in May last year.

Says it will update the market on their successors once replacements are confirmed.

Chief Executive Officer Gary Marshall says: ‘We would like to thank both Nigel and Michael for their contribution to the board during their time with us, and for their continued support during a period of considerable change. We wish them both the very best for the future.’
