Meta Platforms Inc - California-based multinational technology conglomerate - In the three months ended September 30, revenue falls 4% to $27.71 billion from $29.01 billion a year before. Income from operations falls 46% to $5.66 billion versus $10.42 billion. Net income totals $4.40 billion, down 52% versus $9.19 billion. Attributes drop in revenue and income to foreign exchange rates and higher total costs and expenses. Expects its fourth quarter total revenue to be in the range of $30 billion to $32.5 billion. Expects 2022 total expenses to be in the range of $85 billion to $87 billion, updated from our prior outlook of $85 billion to $88 billion.
