IN BRIEF: ECSC shares jump on contract wins for MDR division

ECSC Group PLC - Bradford, Yorkshire-based cybersecurity firm - Wins three significant contract wins in its Managed Detection & Response division. Says food retail, leisure and utilities are the represented sectors. The contracts, all of which are for an initial period of three years, have a combined revenue of around £690,000. Says revenue will be recognised throughout the duration of the contracts.

Chief Executive Officer Matthew Briggs says: ‘We are delighted to start the year with a number of significant MDR new service wins. The wins support what we’re seeing in the market place, with cyber security now very much seen as a priority risk at board level. The team has worked well to adapt to the re-designed sales process for our MDR division, supporting and educating clients at both a technical and non-technical level, meaning all stakeholders understand the options available to them, reinforcing our trusted advisor status.’
