Cenkos Securities PLC - London-based stockbroker - Expects 2022 revenue to be £20 million and to break even in underlying profit. Says this has been advised against a backdrop of ‘significantly depressed market conditions for 2022, with the overall level of money raised on AIM at its lowest since 2003 and new money at its lowest level since launch in 1995’. For 2021, revenue was £37.2 million, and underlying profit was £5.9 million.

Looking ahead, Cenkos says it is focused on operational stability and resilience. Makes a solid start to the year with revenue for January ahead of the average run rate for the second half of 2022, adding that markets have also made a more encouraging start to 2023.
