Drax Group PLC - Yorkshire, England-based power generator - Confirms that it has provisionally secured agreements to provide a total of 621 megawatts of capacity, principally from its pumped storage and hydro assets. It didn’t specify with whom it had signed.
The agreements are for the delivery period between October 2026 and September 2027 and are at a price of £63 per kilowatt, providing income of around £37 million. These are in addition to existing agreements which extend to September 2026.
