Galliford Try Holdings PLC on Monday said that its environment business has secured a place on Southern Water’s new AMP8 framework.

Galliford Try is an Uxbridge, England-based construction company.

The framework, valued at £600 million, covers an initial period of just over three years, with an option to extend by nearly five years. It covers works across Southern Water’s geographical region, including the Isle of Wight.

‘The environment sector is a key focus of our sustainable growth strategy, which targets growth in complementary and adjacent markets, and we are delighted to have been chosen again by key client Southern Water for this new framework. The appointment demonstrates our growing capabilities in asset optimisation as clients increasingly look to improve existing facilities and processes,’ said Chief Executive Bill Hocking.

Galliford Try shares were flat at 175.00 pence each in London on Monday morning.
