Amte Power PLC - London-based developer and manufacturer of lithium-ion and sodium-ion battery cells for specialist markets - Posts turnover of £546,080 for the six months ended December 31, down 33% from £815,174 a year before. Pretax loss widens to £3.7 million from £2.6 million, as operating loss widens to £3.8 million from £2.6 million in 2021. Finance costs almost double to £208,790 from £120,991. Cash amounts to £1.2 million at period end, down from £6.3 million a year prior.

Chief Executive Officer Alan Hollis says: ‘I am pleased to report that Amte Power continued to make good progress in the half year ended December 31, 2022, with progress continuing in line with market expectations of loss before tax for the full financial year.’
