CleanTech Lithium PLC on Tuesday said that its Non-Executive Chair Steve Kesler will move to the role of executive chair, as the company moves into its next phase of growth.

CleanTech Lithium is an exploration and development company focused on advancing the next generation of sustainable lithium projects in Chile.

Kesler first joined the company in September 2021. He has over 45 years of experience developing major mining projects in Chile. CleanTech has also appointed Maha Daoudi, previously of Trafigura, as an independent non-executive director.

‘I am delighted that Steve is moving to Executive Chair and Maha is joining the company on our journey to producing the greenest lithium for the EV market. They both bring a diverse set of skills that will help drive the company into the next phase, all the while strengthening our position in the lithium market,’ said Chief Executive Aldo Boitano.

CleanTech shares closed 6.9% higher at 53.00 pence each in London on Tuesday.
