Corre Energy BV - Groningen, Netherlands-based renewable energy storage solutions and green hydrogen producer - Pretax loss widens to €34.3 million from €7.6 million, and the company has zero revenue against €5,000 in the previous year. The company says this loss was driven by a €5.6 million employee related costs and by €7.0 million administration costs. Corre Energy raises €10.9 million through a capital increase in May 2022. Chief Executive Keith McGrane says: ‘2022 was about putting in place the building blocks for growth whilst maintaining prudent capital deployment.

‘Off the back of our strong commercial performance we successfully raised €10.9 million in May 2022 and €8.9 million in February 2023. This has allowed the company to advance its near-term projects whilst positioning the business for further planned pipeline growth.’
