Galliford Try Holdings PLC - Uxbridge, England-base construction company - Declares 12 pence per share special dividend for the financial year ending on June 30, as it is set to receive a £26 million cash payment as settlement of a long-standing contract dispute. Galliford says the dispute concerns three contracts with entities owned by ‘a major infrastructure fund’. It says it intends to return a substantial proportion of the settlement to shareholders, while retaining some to invest in growth. The form and amount of any further returns is yet to be decided.
