Ireland unemployment rate unchanged at 3.8% in June - CSO

Ireland’s unemployment rate was unchanged at 3.8% in June, official data showed on Wednesday.

The Central Statistics Office said the seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate was unchanged from May. The jobless rate had been 3.9% in April.

It was down from 4.2% in June 2022.

‘The seasonally adjusted number of persons unemployed was 105,400 in June 2023, compared with 102,800 in May 2023. There was a decrease of 6,000 in the seasonally adjusted number of persons unemployed in June 2023 when compared with a year earlier,’ said CSO statistician Conor Delves.
