UPDATE: Crest Nicholson finance chief Cooper to be Travis Perkins’ CFO

Crest Nicholson Holdings PLC - Surrey-based housebuilder - Finance Director Duncan Cooper will step down next year to become chief financial officer at ‘another larger listed company’. He will continue at Crest until January, and the firm has begun a process to find his replacement. Cooper joined in 2019.

Builders’ merchant Travis Perkins PLC says it has hired Cooper to be the next CFO as Alan Williams to retires after seven years in the role.

Travis’ Chief Executive Officer Nick Roberts says: ‘[Cooper] brings an ambitious drive with a strong track record of performance focus and rich cross-sector experience having held senior leadership roles at Crest Nicholson and Sainsbury‘s. I’m looking forward to him joining the board and the leadership team.’

Crest current stock price: 179.90 pence each, up 0.7% on Tuesday morning in London
