Ocado Group PLC - Hertfordshire-based online grocer and warehouse technology firm - Luke Jensen will step down as chief executive officer of Ocado Solutions on September 30, in order to focus on external non-executive director positions. Jensen has been CEO of Ocado Solutions since 2017. The division offers Ocado’s grocery warehouse and delivery technology to other supermarkets.

John Martin, a non-executive director of Ocado, will be appointed as CEO of Ocado Solutions from September 1 to allow for a month-long handover. Martin will leave the Ocado board at that time.

CEO Tim Steiner says: ‘Luke has played a key role in our transformation into a global technology solutions business. He leaves our Solutions business in a strong position to drive future growth, having recently established a global regional structure, with the appointments of regional presidents and the creation of a global ’partner success’ organisation.’
