Wynnstay Group PLC - Powys, Wales-based agricultural and specialist merchanting firm - Says that following Paul Robert’s decision to retire, Rob Thomas has been appointed as its new group finance director.
Thomas is due to start on October 2 as group finance director designate, and as a director of the board. He will take up his role as group finance director on January 2, the same day as Paul Roberts steps down. Roberts will stay with Wynnstay in a consultancy role to assist with the year-end audit process, and to help ensure a smooth handover.
Thomas joins from EFS Global Ltd, a UK-based logistic provider, where he was also group finance director. Before that, he worked at NWF Group PLC, where he was finance director of the feeds division.
