Neometals Ltd - London-based sustainable battery materials producer - Says lithium refinery adjacent to Bondalti Chemicals SA’s chlor-alkali operations in Estarreja, Portugal would be operated by potential 50:50 joint venture between Bondalti and Reed Advanced Materials Pty Ltd under a co-operation agreement between RAM and Bondalti to evaluate the project. Says the parties been discussing revisions to that arrangement that move beyond the terms of the co-operation agreement and that, as a result, the parties have allowed the co-operation agreement to expire at the end of its term on Saturday last week. Says RAM and Bondalti will continue to co-fund the pilot trial and evaluation studies and have begun discussions on updating arrangements. Neometals says it will make further announcements on those discussions ‘as appropriate’.
