Windar Photonics PLC - London-based technology group, which has developed a cost-efficient and innovative light detection and ranging wind sensor for use on electricity generating wind turbines - Paul Hodges, non-executive director, buys 275,000 shares at 39.82 pence each on Friday.

On Friday, the firm said Chair Johan Blach Petersen had stepped down with immediate effect, although he will continue to serve as a non-executive director. Windar said it appointed WildLife Group Ltd Chair David George Lis as successor with immediate effect.
