Tungsten West PLC - mining company, working to restart production at the Hemerdon tungsten and tin mine in Devon, England - Alistair Stobie will join as new chief financial officer on Monday. Stobie replaces Nigel Widdowson, who resigned in mid-August. He was formerly CFO of Hurricane Energy PLC from 2016 to 2020 and CFO of Octavia Energy, and finance director of Zoltav Resources Inc from 2013 to 2015 and a founding partner at private equity investor Baring Vostok Capital Partners. ‘His extensive experience in fundraising and debt refinancing will play a pivotal role as we look to continue towards the recommencement of operations at Hemerdon,’ comments Chair David Cather.

Current stock price: 1.54 pence, down 0.7% on Friday in London
