Schroder British Opportunities Trust - London-based public and private investment trust focused on small to mid-cap UK companies - Reports net asset value per share at September 30 was 104.66 pence, down 2.5% from 107.32p at March 31. Explains this reflects markedly different performance from the public and private investments. Public investments fell 4.9% during the period while private investments rose 2.9%. Expects that ‘the patient shareholder will benefit when market sentiment changes and the value and quality of the underlying portfolio becomes appreciated.’
