Greencoat UK Wind PLC - invests in UK wind farms - Buys 49.9% stake in Kype Muir Extension wind farm from Banks Renewables. Greencoat says it committed to buy the interest back in December 2020, and it made the investment during construction via a loan which has now been repaid. Completion of the acquisition takes Greencoat UK’s net generating capacity to over 2 gigawatts. Back in December 2020, Greencoat UK said it would pay £51.4 million for the 49.9% stake in Kype Muir Extension wind farm, which located in South Lanarkshire, Scotland.
