Shaftesbury Capital PLC - real estate investment trust formed from merger of Capital & Counties Properties PLC and Shaftesbury PLC - Says non-executive directors, Anthony Steains, Jennelle Tilling and Helena, will step down on January 31, 2024 as it tries to make its organisational structure more efficient. Says this board change reflects the ‘excellent progress’ on integration since completion of the merger between Capital & Counties and Shaftesbury. On Tuesday last week, the company said Chief Operating Officer Chris Ward, formerly the chief financial officer of Shaftesbury PLC, would resign on Friday this week. Shaftesbury said that Ward’s role will not be replaced on the board.
