Unilever PLC - London-based maker of food & drink, cleaning, toiletry, and personal care products - Agrees to sell Elida Beauty to Boston, Massachusetts-based private equity firm Yellow Wood Partners LLC for an undisclosed sum. Elida encompasses more than 20 beauty and personal care products, including Q-Tips cotton swabs and Caress body wash, generating turnover of €800 million in 2022. Completion is expected by mid-2024. Unilever says the disposal is part of its effort to optimise its Personal Care portfolio, with focus on growth of its ’power brands’.
