ECR Minerals PLC - Australia-focused gold exploration company - Technical Director Adam Jones steps down from the board with immediate effect. Jones will continue in his role as chief geologist and technical director of exploration, and focus more of his time on commercial operations. Managing Director Nick Tulloch comments: ‘It is important to note that this board change is no reflection on Adam - in fact the conversation was instigated by him.’
Tulloch continues: ‘It has hopefully been apparent to shareholders that the pace of our operations has accelerated in recent months and, with that, comes the need to position our capabilities to take full advantage of opportunities that may be presented to us.’
Current stock price: 0.29 pence, up 18% in London on Tuesday
