Cohort PLC - Reading, England-based defence and security technology - Wins £15.1 million contract to provide torpedo launch systems to the Royal Canadian Navy. The rapid-reaction system is capable of firing a variety of NATO-standard lightweight torpedoes. The contract is signed by the Canadian subsidiary of Cohort’s SEA arm. Work will start immediately and is expected to be completed in 2030. ‘Together with other recent contract wins across the group, this further underpins our order book and enhances the visibility of future revenues,’ says Cohort Chief Executive Andy Thomis.

Current stock price: 565.76 pence, up 2.9% on Monday in London
