Newbury Racecourse PLC - sporting and events venue in Berkshire, England - Finance Director Mark Leigh will act as interim chief executive for four months. Julian Thick will step down as CEO on Friday, while Shaun Hinds, hired to be his replacement, won’t join until June 3. Thick’s resignation was announced in August, while the appointment of Hinds was announced in December. For the past six and a half years, Hinds has been CEO of Manchester Central Convention Centre, the UK’s largest city centre convention, exhibition and events complex.
