Bellevue Healthcare Trust PLC on Monday reported a drop in its net asset value in its recently-ended financial year.
The London-based healthcare sector investment company, managed by Bellevue Asset Management Ltd, said its NAV per share at November 30 was 143.87 pence each, down 16% from 171.16 pence a year before.
NAV total return was negative 13% compared to negative 4.1% the year prior and below the MSCI World Healthcare benchmark of negative 7.1%.
Bellevue Healthcare proposed a final dividend of 2.99p per share for the year ended November 30, down 7.4% from 3.23p in financial 2022. This brings the total dividend to 5.99p, compared to 6.47p a year ago.
Looking ahead, Bellevue said its performance in the three months to the end of February 2024 has been positive.
Shares in Bellevue were up 0.1% at 151.16p each in London on Monday morning.
