Marks & Spencer’s Co-Chief Executive Officer Katie Bickerstaffe is set to leave the company, Sky News reported on Wednesday evening.
Bickerstaffe will leave the London-based high street stalwart to pursue a portfolio career that will include a non-executive role on the board of London-based DIY retailer Kingfisher PLC.

Her departure will leave Stuart Machin as the sole CEO.
Bickerstaffe led the digital, data and international aspects of M&S’s business during her two-year long tenure.
M&S shares closed 0.2% higher at 239.40 pence each on Wednesday in London, while Kingfisher shares closed 1.4% higher at 227.00p, both before the report by Sky News.
