SulNOx Group PLC on Tuesday said Greek dry bulk shipping group, Seanergy
Maritime Holdings has agreed to pilot its SulNOxEcoTM fuel conditioner.
The London-based greentech company, which provides solutions towards decarbonising and improving the efficiency of liquid hydrocarbon fuels said the pilot is for a cost-effective reduction of shipping emissions.
According to SulNOx, SulNOxEcoTM fuel conditioner is made from natural, biodegradable ingredients and provides an ‘immediate solution to the shipping sector to reduce fuel consumption, emissions and pollution from widely used hydrocarbon liquid fuels.’
The products emulsify water, increase lubricity and oxygen availability to fuel, making it burn more efficiently, it said.

Shares in SulNOx were flat at 32.00 pence each in London on Tuesday afternoon.
