Consumer price inflation cooled in Ireland last month, according to figures on Thursday.
The Central Statistics Office said consumer prices rose by 2.9% in March on a year before, cooling from a 3.4% increase in February.
On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose by 0.5% in March from February, having risen by 1.0% in February from January.
The harmonised index of consumer prices rose by 1.7% annually in March, ebbing from a 2.3% increase in February.
On month, HICP inflation cooled to 0.3% in March from 1.1% a month earlier.
Both HICP readings for March confirmed flash estimates released last week.
