Arecor Therapeutics PLC on Tuesday said its chief financial officer has resigned to pursue new opportunities.
The West Sussex, England-based biopharmaceutical firm said Susan Lowther’s last day is expected to be July 22.
Arecor said a search for Lowther’s successor is underway, with Lowther leaving in July to ensure an effective handover.
‘On behalf of the board and all at Arecor, I want to thank Susan for her contributions over the past five years, in our transition to a public company and growth as a business,’ said Chief Executive Officer Sarah Howell.
Outgoing Lowther commented: ‘I am proud to have been Arecor’s first chief financial officer and of our achievements as a business, and believe the company is well placed for further growth.’
Shares in Arecor were up 0.4% to 133.00 pence each in London on Tuesday morning.
