Libertine Holdings PLC on Monday announced it entered into a new strategic partnership with Vieletech Inc.
The Sheffield, England-based developer of linear generator technology for distributed power and transport applications said the new partnership aims to commercialise its OpenFPE turn-key free research engine system for use in advanced combustion development.
Vieletech, a Colorado, US-based provider of research engine controllers will collaborate on business development, customer-oriented specifications development, as well as technical and commercial contractual development in order to facilitate OpenFPE sales in the US and globally.
The partnership build upon an existing relationship between the two companies, who have worked together since 2017.
‘Vieletech works with some of the world’s leading research organisations and has deep expertise and demonstrated capability when it comes to specifying, integrating and supporting systems for these customers,’ said Libertine Chief Executive Sam Cockerhill.
The partnership is non-binding and any revenue generated will be subject to further agreements.
Libertine shares were up 2.0% to 3.06 pence each in London on Monday afternoon.
