Weir Group PLC - Glasgow-based engineering company - Says Nick Anderson has been appointed to the company’s board as an independent non-executive director with effect from May 15. Anderson served as chief executive officer of the Cheltenham, England-based thermal energy management company Spirax-Sarco Engineering PLC until January 2024, a position he had held since 2014.
Chair Barbara Jeremiah says: ‘On behalf of the board, I am delighted to welcome Nick to Weir. Nick has a wealth of experience as a leader in international engineering and manufacturing operations. The skills and experience he brings in growing global businesses will be a great asset and enhance our ability to achieve Weir’s strategic objectives.’
